View ProductC Channel Steel
A c channel, also called an ms channel or structural channel, is one of the most commonly used steel sections in construction and industrial fabrication across Pakistan. You’ll find it in virtually every type of project from simple cable tray support to full structural steel frames.
What is a c channel? It’s a rolled steel section with a C-shaped cross section consisting of a web and two flanges. The geometry gives it excellent bending resistance along its strong axis while keeping material weight reasonable. That makes it a practical choice wherever you need structural support without the bulk of an H-beam or I-beam.
C channel steel is used in cable tray and ladder rack support systems, purlins and secondary framing in industrial sheds, machine frames and equipment bases, staircase stringers, shelving systems and storage racking, and mezzanine floor supports. Basically anywhere you need a strong, rigid section that’s easy to fabricate and weld.
The ms channel sizes we carry cover the standard range from small sections suitable for light framing all the way to larger sections like 100 x 50 c channel and 4 inch c channel dimensions. C channel weight chart data is available so you can verify material weight for project specifications without guessing.
C channel price in Pakistan varies by size, grade, and quantity. We don’t publish a fixed list price because the steel market in Pakistan moves with international billet prices and local demand. What we do is give you a real quotation based on your actual quantity and delivery location. Contact us for current c channel price in Pakistan for your specific requirement.

Deformed Steel Bar, Rebar and Reinforcement
Deformed steel bars are the backbone of reinforced concrete construction. Every column, beam, slab, and foundation in Karachi’s buildings and infrastructure projects depends on quality reinforcing steel embedded in the concrete.
What’s a deformed steel bar? It’s a steel bar with a ridged surface profile that creates mechanical bond with concrete. The surface deformations prevent the bar from slipping inside the concrete when loads are applied. That bond is what makes reinforced bar work. Plain bar relies only on friction. Deformed bars grip.
Rebar rods are also called reinforcement bar, reinforcing bar, reinforced bar, or simply rebar. They’re all the same product. The terminology varies between engineers, contractors, and suppliers but they’re referring to the same deformed steel bar used in concrete reinforcement.
Grade 60 steel is the most widely specified reinforcement bar in Pakistan’s structural engineering projects. Grade 60 refers to a minimum yield strength of 60,000 psi (approximately 414 MPa). It’s the standard grade used in beams, columns, slabs, and foundations designed to BS 4449 or ASTM A615.
Steel bar weight is something every site manager and procurement officer needs to calculate accurately. Getting the weight of steel bars per foot wrong means your tonnage estimates are off, your budgets are wrong, and your delivery schedules don’t match reality. The 12mm steel bar weight is 0.888 kg per meter or 0.271 kg per foot. Steel weight per foot in kg for other sizes is shown in the reference table. Contact us for a full reinforcement bar sizes and weight schedule for your project.
View Deformed Steel BarEqual Angle Formed Steel
An equal angle, also called angle iron or ms angle, is an L-shaped steel section where both legs are the same width. It’s one of the most versatile structural sections in fabrication and construction work.
MS angle steel shows up in almost every type of fabrication job. Brackets and gussets. Corner reinforcements. Equipment frames. Conveyor supports. Storage rack uprights. Staircase handrails. Cable tray side rails. Tower and mast structures. It’s genuinely everywhere in industrial and construction applications because it’s easy to cut, drill, weld, and bolt.
Steel angle price in Pakistan is quoted per kilogram or per piece depending on size and quantity. Steel angle weight varies by leg size and thickness. We carry standard equal angle sections across the common size range and can advise on the right size for your specific application. Angle iron price in Pakistan varies with market conditions so contact us for current rates on your required sizes.

A steel flat bar is a rectangular cross section bar in standard widths and thicknesses. It’s the go-to material for strap connections, ties, keys, and flat fabricated components where plate would be cut down or round bar won’t do.
Mild steel flat bar is the most common grade we supply. It welds well, machines easily, and works for the vast majority of fabrication and construction applications. Mild steel flat bar weight is straightforward to calculate from the cross section dimensions and the density of steel at 7.85 g/cm³.
We also supply spring steel flat bar for applications requiring higher hardness and resilience, carbon steel flat bar for higher strength applications, and galvanised steel flat bar where corrosion protection is needed without painting. Mild steel flat bar prices in Pakistan vary with quantity and size. Contact us for current pricing on your specific flat bar requirement.
View Steel Flat Bar ProductsPlain Steel Bar
Plain steel bar is the smooth-surface counterpart to deformed bar. It doesn’t have the ribbed profile of reinforcement bar so it doesn’t create the same mechanical bond with concrete, but it has important applications in its own right.
In reinforced concrete work, plain steel bar is used for stirrups, links, and binding wire where the bar is bent into loops or U-shapes to contain the main reinforcement. The smooth surface actually makes it easier to bend tight radius shapes without cracking. A 6mm plain steel bar is the most common size for stirrups and links in beam and column construction.
Plain steel bar is also used in general fabrication for shafts, pins, and axles where a round bar section is needed, as handrail components and balusters, and in machine frames where precise diameter bars are specified. Steel bar price in Pakistan varies by diameter and quantity. Steel bar rate in Pakistan changes with the market so contact us for current pricing. Weight of steel bars per foot for plain bar follows the same formula as deformed bar since the density is the same regardless of surface profile.

- 8mm and 10mm Plain Bar Used for secondary reinforcement, handrail infills, and light structural ties. Good availability from stock.

- Weight Calculation Weight of steel bars per foot for plain round bar: (Diameter in mm)² divided by 162 gives kg/m. Steel weight per foot in kg is then divided by 3.281.
H-Beam and I-Beam Structural Steel
These two sections form the primary structural skeleton of steel-framed buildings, industrial sheds, mezzanines, and bridges. Knowing which one your project needs saves you both money and headaches on site.
H-Beam Explained
An H-beam has a wide flange where the flange width is roughly equal to the section depth. This makes it strong in both axes. It resists bending and torsion well and is the right choice for heavy column applications, long-span beams, and structures where the load could come from multiple directions. H-beams are widely used in industrial buildings across Karachi’s SITE and Korangi areas, in steel fabrication workshops, and in oil and gas facilities at Port Qasim.

I-Beam Explained
An I-beam has narrower flanges relative to the web depth, which makes it very efficient for resisting bending loads along one axis. That makes it ideal for floor beams, roof purlins, and any application where the primary load is vertical. I-beams are lighter than H-beams of similar depth, so they’re often the more cost-effective choice for standard floor systems and secondary structural framing. They’re a staple of mezzanine construction and commercial building framing across Karachi.
View I-Beam →
H-Beam vs I-Beam: Which One Do You Need?
Use H-beam for columns, heavy cantilevers, and structures with loads from multiple directions. Use I-beam for floor and roof beams carrying mainly vertical loads. H-beams generally cost more per meter because they have more steel in them. If your structural engineer has specified one or the other, go with the specification. If you’re working from first principles or a fabrication drawing without a clear section call-out, contact us and we’ll help you figure out the right choice for your application.
